Thanks for making Campbell's launch so successful
Dear ,
Thanks for attending and supporting the launch of Gavin King's biography of Campbell Newman. It was good to see so many people together acknowledging Campbell's achievement as Premier of Queensland.
We have footage of the speeches and the Q&A up on our YouTube Channel Progress TV.
This is thanks to Andrew Smith of Studio Solutions.
(A plug for Andrew, he is good at what he does and records our functions at
cost, so look him up if you need some work done).
We also have photos from the function on our Facebook page.
Please tag anyone you know in the photos, and share on your own timelines.
We have added you to our email list (unless you were already there). If you do not want to receive emails from us then please click here unsubscribe.
If you believe in the principals of the Institute, you might even like to
join us, which you can do by clicking here.
We hope to see you at future functions. Our next is an after work lecture and networking function on November 11 at the Brisbane Club. Richard Cottee, former MD of Queensland Gas, will speak on the topic "Life: it's a gas...everything else is hot air". Apart from saving Queensland Treasury by inventing the unconventional gas industry in Queensland
which now pays a huge amount in royalties, Richard has a solution for the
looming gas shortage on the eastern seaboard.
When we talk about progress, Richard is the sort of Australian who actively
embodies the concept.

Once again, thanks for coming to the launch. Look forward to seeing you again soon.
Regards,
Graham Young Executive Director Australian Institute for Progress
