Apologies but the last notice had conflicting dates
Dear ,
My apologies. yesterday's notice for the function with Nigel Biggar gave the wrong date. It should have been Thursday October 31, not Wednesday October 30.
So if the date was the only reason you couldn't come please click here to book.
Professor Biggar is the author of Colonialism, a Moral Reckoning, Emeritus Regius Professor of Moral Theology at Oxford, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Free Speech Union, an Anglican priest, and known to some of us already as he spoke via Zoom at our inaugural Emancipation Day breakfast.
The venue and cost details were correct.
The function will be at the Queensland Club, where AIP director Tom O'Donnell has used his membership to secure us a room and meal. There is very limited parking at the Queensland Club on the day and a dress code applies.
The details are: Date: Thursday October 31 at 12:00 for 12:30 pm. Venue: The Queensland Club, 19 George Street, Brisbane Tickets: VIP Tickets (2 only) $250, General Admission $165, AIP members $135, Pensioners and Students $100. Tables of 10 $1,350. (All tickets include a two-course meal and drinks) Bookings: RSVP Monday October 28, 2024. To book click here. Dress code: The Queensland Club has a dress code and gentlemen must wear a suit, or coat and tie, ladies should wear business attire (no denim).
Kind regards,
GRAHAM YOUNG EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
