Federal Election Review

Our unique polling data will be a crucial part of this election analysis event

Dear ,

One of the benefits of being involved with the AIP is our treasure-trove of election research that goes back 20 years.

If you want to know what happened in an election you have to ask people why they did what they did. This is something very few outside the major political parties do.

But we’ve been administering qualitative surveys to a panel of Australian voters since 2001 with surprising accuracy in terms of helping to predict outcomes. They also help us to understand better how to pitch policy so that Australians will react more favourably to it.

Unlike most pundits who tell you what they think voters were thinking – which is often just a version of what their workmates or social set were thinking – we can tell you with pinpoint accuracy the real thoughts of real people.

This qualitative research will be at the centre of our presentation on the federal election results this Wednesday in our office at 50 Logan Road, 6:00 pm for 6:30 pm.

If you haven’t already booked, please click here. (We’ll be serving wine, cheese and antipasto as well as facts so there are multiple reasons to attend on top of good analysis).

Our research will be presented by me. I’m hoping Lincoln Folo, LNP State Director, will bring plenty of stats of his own, and we may even have some friendly disagreement. Dr Scott Prasser won’t be bringing his own statistics, but he will bring almost half a century of experience in politics to bear – that’s an impressive statistic in its own right.

Look forward to seeing you Wednesday. And don't forget parking is available onsite.

Regards,

GRAHAM YOUNG
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
