This Friday Liberal Democrat Senator for New South Wales David Leyonhjelm will be in town in conversation with our own Gary Johns.

Courtesy of the double dissolution election Senator Leyonhjelm is almost guaranteed a seat in the next parliament. He will be talking about what really goes on in Canberra, and at the moment is campaigning hard against the government's proposed changes to compulsory superannuation. He also recently proposed an alternative budget which would be balanced.

This is a good opportunity to unwind, have a drink, mix with some friends, and better assess one of the likely power-brokers of the next parliament. The event is hosted by the Liberal Democratic Party and the AIP is a sponsor.
