Seeing is believing
Dear ,
Seeing is believing, and I mean that in two ways.
The first is that this policy paper by Professor Tim Florin relies on graphs to persuasively lead you through what is, and isn't, working in terms of low carbon energy, and what might work.
This policy launch will be on Monday, July 20 at 6:00 for 6:30 in the offices of HopgoodGanim, Level 10, 360 Queen Street, Brisbane. There will be drinks and finger food to start, and tickets are $30 for members and $20 for concessions. To book click here.
This is our first policy paper this year, and courtesy of another AIP member, Heath Goddard, we will have hard copy editions for everyone who attends the function.
The second way is - who would have thought the AIP would have Drew Hutton doing a launch of a policy for us? Well it is important to reach out beyond our normal circles if we are going to change the world.
There are a number of things on which I don't agree with Drew, but there are some issues, like whether men can be women, that I do.
It seems that energy is another of those issues where Drew is happy to entertain the facts, so he seemed an appropriate guest for this event.
I look forward to seeing you at this function. And while you're checking your diary, don't forget that we have John Anderson addressing our Emancipation Day Breakfast on Thursday July 30. To book for Emancipation Day click here.
Kind regards,
Graham Young Executive Director Australian Institute for Progress
