Barrie back from COVID

We have a new date for the Matt Barrie talk.

It has been rescheduled, at last, to next Friday, August 23. Still in the same venue at The Precinct, Stair Stadium, 6:00 for 6:30 pm.

The function includes drinks and antipasto and will finish by 8:00 pm. So why not make it a jumping-off place for dinner in the Valley, or even some nightclubbing after you've had an intellectual entree with Matt?

I'm not sure what Matt is going to talk about, but I'll be quizzing him about the effect that Anthony Albanese's new labour laws will have on his contractors. My guess is that the answer will be that it will be a problem for some Australian contractors, but all that will do is shift the jobs overseas. I can see a trend developing here.

Hope you can make it. If not, and you want a refund, please let me know and I will fix it up. It was a pity we had to cancel through ill-health, but great that Matt is still keen to honour his undertaking.
