Deadline for our poll is extended

Dear ,

I’ve extended the deadline for completing our poll on Australian political attitudes until midnight on Wednesday. So far we have had 690 responses all up, but normally we have somewhere around 1,000, so I think the notice was too short.

If you haven’t completed the survey and would like to the link is https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6H7KRMX.

I’ve never seen a more intriguing time in politics, and we need to understand better exactly why it is happening.

I also thought you’d like to know about some functions which are coming-up soon (very soon in one case).

Tomorrow at 5:30 pm the Menzies Institute is launching their latest book, The Menzies Legacy: Ideals, Change, Procession, 1960s and Beyond.

Deputy Premier of Queensland, The Honourable Jarrod Bleijie MP will launch the book and use the occasion to reflect on the modern challenge to a Menzian problem, the issue of home ownership.

Venue is the offices of King, Wood and Malleson, Level 33, Waterfront Place, 1 Eagle Street. Cost is $30. To book click here.

The other function is a speech by Gary Johns: Why the Left Shifted Against Israel and the Impact on the Jewish Community of Australia.

Date is February 26, 7:00 for 7:30 pm at the International Virginia, Cnr Sandgate and Zillmere Roads, Boondall. To book click here. Cost is $30.

I should also let you know that Hon John Anderson AC, former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, but today better known as an international podcaster, will be our guest speaker at our annual Emancipation Day Breakfast, on August 1. Details to follow.

Kind regards,

GRAHAM YOUNG
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE FOR PROGRESS
