Reminder: Giles Auty on Postmodernism and Australia

Still some tickets left for Giles Auty

Dear ,

We still have some room left for guests at Postmodernist Australia is an unholy mess.

Giles Auty is a prominent art critic, who has also been a successful artist, and flirted with professional sport. Just the sort of Renaissance man to take on Australia's (and the Western World's) drift to postmodern, deconstructionist, relativism.

With the Ramsay Centre's "Studies of Western Civilisation" proposal struggling to get acceptance at Australian universities, and being opposed by academics themselves, something has gone seriously wrong.

What has gone wrong and what can be done?

The "Long march through the Institutions" has been proceeding for just over 50 years now. Perhaps it will take a 100 years' war to push it back.

This book launch will give you a better understanding of where we find ourselves, and what can be done. You'll also have an opportunity to meet comrades in the battle of ideas.

If you want to come, please click here to book.

We'd love to see you.

Regards,

Graham Young
