Dear ,
The McIlwraith lecture series celebrates individual excellence in entrepreneurship, recognising that entrepreneurs and innovators are responsible for much of the physical progress we see around us.
Sir Thomas McIlwraith was a visionary early Liberal premier of Queensland, a Scottish engineer and free trader who opened up the state with railways and ports. This year we celebrate the achievements of Jamie Pherous who took his business from 2 employees in 1994 to a stock market valuation of $2.5 billion today.
This function is a major fundraiser for us, so we hope to see all friends and supporters at it. We have tables available at a competitive price, so don't come on your own - bring some friends.
Date: Thursday July 19, 2017. 7:00 for 7:30pm until 9:30pm Venue: Tattersall's Club, 215 Queen St, Brisbane QLD 4000 Cost: $185 single ticket ($165 AIP members, $120 students); $1,650 table of ten To book click here.
Kind regards,

Graham Young Executive Director Australian Institute for Progress
