McKell Institute Webinar

Dear ,

This Thursday at midday I will be discussing the next state election with Rachel Nolan from the McKell Institute in a Zoom webinar.

Rachel is my regular partner in crime on Steve Austin's ABC program at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays. She is also the Executive Chair of the McKell Institute which is a Labor-aligned think tank.

The event will also feature McKell Victoria Executive Director Ryan Batchelor.

The hour-long panel discussion will commence at 12pm (QLD time). To register for the free online event, please follow the link below.

Things have changed since my session with John Mickel last week so even if you attended that event, this one should still be of interest.

Both parties have launched their campaigns, including Labor's pledge on euthanasia legislation, and we have seen how COVID-19 played out in the ACT and NZ elections.

Apparently VIctorian members of the McKell Institute are keen to understand what is different about Queensland. Their questions might help us in Queensland to understand what makes Victorians tick these days.

I believe a lot of VIctorians will be voting with their feet and coming to Queensland as soon as their borders are open, and it should be a cornerstone of our economic recovery that we pitch for Victorians and Victorian businesses.

Look forward to perhaps seeing you online on Thursday.

Regards,
Graham Young
Executive Director
