End the year on a highDear , We’re going out on a high this year with two great functions to round-off the year: the launch of Ten Remarkable Australians, and the showing of The Rise of Jordan Peterson. Ten Remarkable Australians with Ian MacFarlane and Des HoughtonAt the AIP we’re conscious that we stand on the shoulders of giants, and that while the past wasn’t perfect, in Australia it has given us a good foundation for the future. Yet some of the most important people from the past disappear from our collective memory for no good reason. Ian MacFarlane’s book revives the reputations and stories of 10 Australians who were well-known in their time and don’t deserve to be forgotten. We’ll have many great Australians at the launch, and one of them, Des Houghton, will be doing the honours. We’ve teamed-up with FanForce for a screening of the documentary The Rise of Jordan Peterson.
