We have an addition to the panel for next Wednesday's discussion on "The energy transition and coal, lessons from Germany". Steven Boxall will be joining us. He is the CEO of the Resource Centre of Excellence Steven has a unique skill set developed across a university education in business, local government as CEO, general management in a corporate environment and as managing director of a highly successful SME.

He will join our keynote speaker, German energy economist Lars Schernikau and our other panelist, Nick Jorss. The function is a lecture with drinks and canapes at Tattersall's on Wednesday July 10, 6:00 for 6:30 pm. To book click here.

With two decades immersed in the commodity industry, Lars' journey began at The Boston Consulting Group (USA and Germany) from 1997 to 2003. He also has personal commercial experience in the industry as a co-founder, shareholder, and former board member of the supervisory board at both HMS Bergbau AG and IchorCoal NV – German-based, publicly listed, international commodity marketing and mining companies.

Our other panelist Nick Jorss is CEO of Bowen Basin Coal, a metallurgical coal producer, and Ballymore Resources, which explores for copper, gold and critical minerals in Queensland.
