What's coming up in Brisbane

Dear ,

While the McIlwraith Lecture (featuring Jamie Pherous, one of Queensland's corporate stars) is our major fundraiser, and we'd like you to save up and come along, in the next couple of months there are plenty of other functions on offer from us, and some of our friends, that won't strain your budget.

Hope to see you at the McIlwraith Lecture, plus one of these others at least, over the next couple of months.

The strange and terrible case of the QUT students and S18C starring Tony Morris QC and Calum Thwaites.

We owe Calum Thwaites, and his barrister Tony Morris, a great debt in exposing the workings of the Human Rights Commission and the abuse of Section 18C of the Human Rights Act.

Come and here the details of this affair. It's an issue close to the hearts of many AIP members, and the subject of our submission to the federal parliament's Free Speech Inquiry.

When: Friday, August 25, 6:00 for 6:30 pm
Where: TBA
Cost: TBA
