We're fighting to ensure that Australia maintains a reliable and affordable electricity grid. We've also taken the fight up to the state government on their ban on property developer donations. Our campaign on free speech will also continue later this month when the Ruddock inquiry into religious freedom becomes public. And then there is our campaign to support Professor Peter Ridd and ensure that government only spends its money on good science.
Sir Leo would have seen it all before. While the issues change, the arguments and methods don't, and everything has to be fought for generation by generation. In his speech there will be lessons that we can all apply to making good public policy happen in Queensland.
