The satellite record continues to confirm that temperatures are increasing, although at a lower rate than that claimed for the land-based records. It is still tracking an increase of 1.44 degrees Celsius by 2100, assuming no downwards turn in the trend.

The graph of June temperatures is interesting. If you ran the trend over the last 16 years it would be down. It certainly wasn’t particularly hot compared to a number of Junes over the last 30 years.
