Nick Minchin and David Stevens present a book about the future of liberal Australia
About this event
Whatever party you vote for, the future of the Liberal Party is of vital importance. Since 1947 it has won the majority of non-Labor votes federally, and its position on issues affects what Labor does, as well as what is possible for the number of smaller parties and independents.
This event is an opportunity to discuss the way forward.
The book includes contributions from a number of senior Liberals and thinkers, including John Howard, Tony Abbott, John Roskam, Daniel Wyld and the man who will launch the book, Nick Minchin. It is introspective and prospetive, and proceeds from the position that no matter who is in power, someone has to represent the liberal values that have made Australia what it is.
