Professor Bartlett is the inaugural Director of the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) and holds the Foundation Chair in Molecular Neuroscience at The University of Queensland. He has a prodigious research output, and in 2015 was awarded the CSL Florey Medal and Prize, only the seventh time this award has been made since its inception in 1988.
